They lowered the hunting mortality on wolves in the two areas by me by a couple in each this year. Maybe more are getting whacked ? The only area in the state that doesn't have a mortality limit on black bears is in the Shoesone Nat. Forest by me. I saw a wolf all the way at the end of South Fork in 2001 while deer hunting. I thought it was a big coyote. Same color. Standing across canyon at around 250 yards . I kept thinking while finger on the trigger, that's a big yote. Then it hit me. A wolf ! They had a sign down at game check station wanting to know of wolf sightings. I told a warden on the way out. He could of cared less. I saw one up by East gate Yellowstone in 2002. The only two I've seen.Wyoming is the only one close to objectiveView attachment 599500
I saw or heard wolves every time when I hunted in the Thorofare. When they were in the area there was very little bugling. I guess the elk know best to keep their mouths shut when they are around. They lowered the hunting mortality on wolves in the two areas by me by a couple in each this year. Yeah, you have a point, but.. perhaps the SCOTUS smells a change in the air. Just a thought. CheersUnfortunately SCOTUS isn't in the enforcement end of things. Many don't believe their rulings apply. One of the department heads (EPA I think) kind of responded it didn't matter.
Shoot, Skin , Sear to medium well.
Just make the transmitter receivers availble to the hunter's. We'll help I am sure of that!Interesting thought of GPS shock collars as part of their GPS tracking collar? Now that would be interesting to put cattle ranch boundaries as point for shock? The technology is certainly there.
