Is 8208 xbr a useful powder in 270 win and 25/06 ? I plan to use hammer bullets assuming in the the correct weights. Thanks to all . Tribb

8208 is excellent in 223/243 sized varmint cartridges especially with med/light bullets. Temp stable, good velocity, great accuracy, meters great. It's been out of stock all year but just popped up in 1 pounders this week. I still have some from my pre-covid stockpile.

I use it exclusively for all of these varmint & hunting loads:
20 Practical- 24gr, 32gr bullets
223- 35gr, 40gr, 50gr
6mmDTI- 55gr, 80gr
243- 55gr, 80gr
