@X'n Tex'n n555 is amazing in my 300 mega with a 208 eldm. I am extremely impressed with the n555 and have switched a couple rifles over to it. Probably going to order another 16 pounds of it.
I'm at .003 neck tension. I'll certainly try that out, thanks!Have you tried playing with neck tension? Sometimes I have had it pull in group. Going up to 0.004 0.005 sometimes can help
I will try them out. I have both. Never used the N555 for anything. Now's the timeI would still try the N550 and N555. Burn rate charts aren't 100%.
What is your velo with the 208, and barrel length, please? Primer?@X'n Tex'n n555 is amazing in my 300 mega with a 208 eldm. I am extremely impressed with the n555 and have switched a couple rifles over to it. Probably going to order another 16 pounds of it.
How do I get a copy or download? Can you send it to me Trecker?I have put together data from the many shooters that emailed/PM'd me. Here is what I have so far but I am still asking for more data to be PM'd to me so I can continue to add to this.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this.
As always this data is for specific rifles and should be worked up to find what is safe in your rifle.
I settled on N550 after trying both 550 and 555 in this last phase of tests. My goal was 2700mv in my 300 Mega, 18" barrel, with 208 LRHT's. I'm at 2730 with good sd/es. Shot at 600 yards yesterday, .370 moa, off of bipod, prone.@X'n Tex'n n555 is amazing in my 300 mega with a 208 eldm.
