I have been shooting long range now for about 6 or 7 years, not very experienced, but it's been a really neat road that I have gone down. It started with a thought that I wanted to shoot an elk at 1000 yards. Still have not accomplished that....... YET,,,,but have had way better experiences and so many good times because of it. I have learned so much from you folks here and from some close buddies.
The last couple years I have got to introduce a few buddies to LR shooting and hunting. I love how people say "there is no way that is possible." But then you take em to the range and show em how possible it is, then next thing you know... they are hooked.
Just today I got to take a co workers teenage son, he loves shooting but never got an opportunity to shoot LR. You should have seen his eyes when he hit the 600 yard plate. Moments like that are what makes this life worth living! He doesn't realize how cool that was for me but it was awesome.
Just wanna say thank you folks for helping me getting started, and hope you guys know that you're not just helping one person when you offer your advice, it's helping countless people get into our sport. It's been a great place to be part of.

congrats on your skills getting better, keep training
If you need great instruction to further your knowledge come see me at Barbour Creek LongRange.
