Does anyone know if the Wyatt's mags r just a drop in mag to get a longer COAL? Or do I have to do some modifications/buy a different mag box?

Are you talking about the floor plate style to allow you to load longer? If so, they typically require milling out the mag well to fit. They have instructions on their site. I had to do this on several of my Rem 700. You will want to ask them about Browning as I am not sure they make for anything other than a Rem style foot print.

I was hoping for a drop magazine style plug n play. Don't wanna mill anything. I sent them a email yesterday. Hopefully hear back today. Thanks

I dont know anyone making a browning ( I'm assuming it's an x-bolt) style magazine other than browning

They most likely have a patent on the design-- heck, it's hard enough to find an aftermarket stock for them let alone a magazine

There is a browning mag option for the x bolt. Waters rifleman, they're well known for producing quality tikka mags. I have a thread on here somewhere about my x bolt 300 experience with them. It gets you too 3.62" according to the website. Prior to using a waters rifleman I was opening the front of the factory mags to get longer. Any longer than 3.65 and the bullet will catch on the receiver, thats as long as the mag well will accommodate if I remember.

Here's the link to that thread
