Student makes great shot in SA

Thanks to your tutelage I took an ostrich at 810 yards on Monday. 300 wm. 180 grain Norma Bondstrike. The outfitter doesn't remember a shot that long in Limpopo province for many years.

Exactly how long do you smoke an ostrich leg?

That is pretty cool, is the ostrich considered an invasive species or a game animal there?

Ostrich.... Now that's different. Great shooting, 810 yards on wild game is no easy task. Thanks for the post. Neat to see different game people go after.
