I have 14 Boxes (Only 7 boxes pictured) of Barnes 7mm Remington Ultra Magnum factory ammunition. Loaded with the Barnes 145gr LRX @ 3350 fps. 20rounds per box.

Did this ammo shoot well or no?

I never shot any of it. I purchased a rifle and ammo package. I handload everything. I asked the prior owner if he had shot any of it through the rifle and he said he hadn't.The only thing I shoot that starts with a "B" is a Berger.

Well I had to give it a try. So I threw a 4-12 on the rifle. Screwed on an Omega 36M suppressor. Had a clean bore. So I fired one at 100 yards. Made a scope adjustment and shot a 3 shot group. First group went .495. I let it cool and made a slight scope adjustment and shot a second 3 shot group that went .507.

For a average velocity of 3408 FPS

How much for the Gun.

Whose headstamp is on the brass?
Is it nickle plated?

It's nickel brass. Barnes head stamp.

3400 is a little slow for a 140gr class of bullet, good shooting though!

Slow. . How do those ballistic brick Hammer's shoot for you?

145gr You know. Split the difference between a 140 and 150.

I paid for the whole case so I'm going to fill her up! Realistically though, 140s out of a 7mm RUM should hover around 3600 fps, especially for a Barnes. And yes, those Hammers shoot like hammers.
