If the weather is decent I will start shooting more sporting clays.

Fortunately we have a couple of weeks of snow goose migration hunting left

Shoot, they'll eat venison all day…….as long as it's jerky. I saw those cookies on the net somewhere and I just HAD TO make them, too.

Cleaned, oiled and inspected all my guns. Inventoried my components and annealed all my latest, just-cleaned brass.
Lots of empty brass to refill.
Casting bullets for cheap plinking, because sight picture and trigger finesse are perishable skills.
Shooting whenever I can get to the range.
Dry fire practice.

Just had my right eye done. Not perfect 29/29, but compared to how useless it was prior, it's miraculous. The colors and brightness will shock you

Just got a sous vide cooker, gonna try cooking a tenderloin tonight.

Skiing, training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu three nights a week, competitive pistol shooting, and practicing with my hunting rifle. I also volunteer for our local sheriff's office. My wife and I just took a USPSA Range Officer's course last weekend.

I gifted one of our nephews my first bolt gun, a Remington 700 tactical in .223 that I let him shoot about 12 years ago when he was in his early teens. He's coming for a visit sometime in the next couple of weeks so I can get him up to speed on how to properly use the scope and general use of the rifle.

Prepping brass now as I have 4 barrels out getting threaded since I'm going suppressed for the first time this fall.

It's my busiest time for hunting travel. Turkey season is in 2 months and I'm hunting here in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas (if I draw), South Dakota, and Wyoming. I also take delivery of my Christmas gift in April and will start some load development on it. Weatherby Apex from the custom shop in 300wby topped with a VX6-HD.

I have been using the winter trying to get fitter, running/lifting etc and getting some rifles/equipment sorted

My Hobie PA 14 is ready and waiting. Another month or so.

Bass Fishing and Turkey season are right around the corner…time to go through gear, get tackle ready and start prepping for deer season 24/25
