So my buddy has a new seekins havak ii he has lapua brass, br2 primers, and some rl26 would this be a good powder to try? If not what would be he has some h4350 for his daughters 6.5creedmoor. Where would you start for seating depth?

Rl-26 is perfect for it as long as you are shooting around 85 degrees and below, it really builds pressure fast above that temp. I would start around 58 grains and work up. I am shooting the same bullet with 60 grains of rl26 in mine and it's a max load.

I have not reloaded any of the Hornady brass that I have from fired factory ammo. 60 grains gave me some pretty good markings on the headstamp on the ADG Brass. Shoots great but I figured I would back it off a little to save brass life and primer pockets. i will have to give the Hornady brass a try.

I use RL23 in my 6.5 PRC for 124 Hammers. I use 56.0 grs. RL26 with 156 Berger but thought RL26 might be too slow for 124 Hammer. I'm excited reading this !
I have a load with 124 Hammer .56.0 grs RL23 . ADG . FED 210 match SD 4 ES 10 at 3211 fps. No pressure.
56.0 grs. RL26 ADG Fed 210 match. SD 3 ES 6 at 2938 fps. No pressure. Both 24 in. Barrel.
Hope I get 3400 fps With 124 Hammer and RL26 !

In my CA Ridgeline with 24" barrel I am getting 3393 AVG. with the 58.5 Grain Load of RL 26 in my shorter barreled Gunwerks Clymr the same load is averaging right at 3330 FPS. The barrel is 22". I have some RL23 and will have to give it a try just to see how it shoots.

Guys I just wanted to put it out there that I might be using Magnum Primers with the 58.5 Grain load. I will have to check my load book on that. Don't want to put out any bad data to you guys. I will post once I get a chance to look it up. What ever primer it is it shoots good.......

Mine is a Ridgeline also. Forgot to mention. Your data is good to know. Thanks !
I could of went a little hotter with the RL23 but was shooting 5 shot .400 in. Groups I had to develop a load for a Ca. hunt last year.
