Im building a 7-300 and am trying to choose a bullet. im down to the Berger 175 or the ABLR 175. anybody have experience with both? Im sure ill try em both for myself but a little insight would be nice.
What'll you be hunting?
I don't have any experience with ABLR's yet but my experience with Berger's has not been good.
I've had unreliable expansion at long ranges, and they're also explosive if you hit heavy muscle or bone.
With that specific berger bullet or bergers in general? What'll you be hunting?

holy crap that thing must be screaming!!!My 28 nosler loves the 175 ablr. Bang flop and complete pass thru on everything But I have only shot Texas sized deer with them so far so that's not saying much. My rifle love them with with a long jump. .105 to be exact.
I hope you're not planning on shooting elk that far with a 7mm, you're asking for trouble if you dodeer, elk and beer out to 1200yds
I've had failures with 168's, 215's, and witnessed a blow up with a 300 EH.With that specific berger bullet or bergers in general?
