    I agree and I agree and still have trouble no matter what I try. I wish there was a sure fire method to doing this.

    My pre64 Win M70 started as a .30-06 but was rebored to .338 caliber hence it became a .338-06. My favorite bullet is a 210 Nosler Partition. It's been very effective on elk and moose.

    .300 wsm or .270 winchester?

    I have a Sako A7 in 300 WSM and that would be my choice. If you're recoil sensitive then probably the .270 Win.
