    RE: savage LA chassis

    I'm interested for sure ... forgive me here as I'm usually a short action guy ... what all types of cartridges will this magazine work for? Magnum, Standard, both?

    I've used this length of magazine for all the 30-06 family of cartridges. As well as 6.5x284, 6.5x55. And I also have long action 308 with f-tr chamber that is loaded 2.950 and feeds from a long magazine. I guess the best answer would be cases with .473 boltface and to long for most short 2.880 magazine length up to 3.56 max lengrh. I was going to use this for 280ai.

    Hi - thanks ... I was actually more thinking about the case base diameter ... .473 for "standard" vs. the .513 of the magnums as the follower in the mag will "likely" vary depending on which it is for? ... Just wanting to be sure I know/understand what you've got ...

    Yes this is standard non magnum magazine
