Most experienced loaders have a go/ no go guage , to check the pocket for excessive enlargement. If the no go end fits throw the case away. If your finding that after a few loadings your loads are toooo much pressure! Back off your asking toooo much from your firearm.

You can't beat a 145 Speer Hot Core out of the 7mm it will knock the snot out of any Stone ram that ever walked the earth. It a premium bullet just not in price...... Seen lots of big Dall Rams flattened with Hot Cores, never a problem.

A good ruff should be a minimum of 3" wide , I prefer 4" ruff and one of the nicest looking ones is one made from 2.5" of Wolverine plus 2.5" of Wolf, very classy and commonly seen at the finish line of the Iditarod.
