22TCM 4 inch groups at 100 with factory ammo. Was able to get 1 1/2 with loads of my own. Called Armscor and their reply was 4 inches was acceptable to them. Challenge accepted. Will post with final results.
Kind of the poor mans way but i use VLD inside chamfer either in the RCBS case prep station or in a drill. Station works best because you do not have to hold it. It will bottom out before you take too much off the case. Will only work for small primer.
So many comments could be made about this. My 2c has come down to this. My brothers biggest deer was shot at 25 yds. with 100 gr. Rage broadhead. He called me to help track it. dark by the time i got there and went to where it was shot. Blood out both sides 5 yds. you could almost see it without...
Once upon a time owned a Savage model 12 bull barrel 26 in. 1-12 twist. Sierra listed their 63 gr. SMP bullet with Varget powder at 33 gr. with velocity of 3300 fps. Not a nice sleek looking bullet everyone likes today but worked on everything from foxes to deer and it was very accurate.
Recently purchased 500 pcs 260 Peterson small primer brass and did as i do with any brass. Full length sized checked length which was very consistent @ 2.027. Turned necks to .013 and had no problems. At this point have only done fifty cases. Cases were packed loose in the box so no hand picked...
Burris makes several different rangefinding scopes . I have been using burris scopes 15 years now but have never had one of the rangefinding scopes. Never had one i did not like.
I have seen a very steady system that is very simple and easy to make with a 4in. c-clamp and piece of 2x 1/4 in. flat bar cut to desired height. Combine this with window mount clamp and you are set. Would recommend using steel clamp for best results. sorry do not have pics.
Have always liked 22-250 but wanted one with 7 or 8 twist to shoot heavier bullets. One company has finally made one with 8 twist. One on the way now. If this Tikka T3 works as planned i will be using it deer hunting since i have become recoil sensitive. Older and arthur are taking their toll...
Same situation in Missouri with feral hogs. They trap then on national forest land and dispose of them and the excuse is they could be diseased. It is not legal to even shoot them on nat. forest land.
Whatever you have the most confidence in and shoot accurately should be considered in your choice. If your 6.5 prc meets these
requirements and you are confident you can make the shot then that is what you should use.
Had surgery last year on both eyes. Got the distance lens and think they should be classified as everything but reading. 35 years putting on glasses when i got out of bed and taking them off when i went to bed. I have even managed to start shooting peep sights again.
