I have shot 2 whitetails and a Dall Sheep with the 124 gr Hammers from my 6.5 Creed at about 2940 fps with excellent results.

Very good. Not compressed in the Alpha brass.

4350 is giving me excellent accuracy with the 124. .5 moa or better to 700 yards if i do my part. Have a couple of 200 yard groups that measure .3. That's .15 moa

I am using H4350 with the 124. No good?

What powder do you suggest for the 117 and how much? What is a reasonable vel to expect. This bullet tough enough for Nyala as well?

I have had a lot of problems with my feed but the Schee's Beartooths are the most comfortable and forgiving boot I have ever worn.

I find the rubbery coating on the Hog Saddle to be easy on the stocks.

I probably used an incorrect name. It is the device that most tripod heads have you attach to your spotter etc so you can easily clip it in and out of the tripod head.

I have had the Hog Saddle for a couple of years and do carry it into the field. I like it a lot. I have also put tripod shoes on my spotting scope and rangefinder and binocs that allow me to also mount them in the Hog Saddle. I just tighten the Hog Saddle down on the shoes for each instrument.

I concur. I have been using a drop tube for all my reloading for a couple of years now.
