Nikon Monarch I was just checking them out.Was looking at the Vortex 4x16x50 but read they are not so good in low light.I have a couple of Leupolds 3x9s and love them.But I want something with a turrent.And Leupolds more than I want to spend.

Well I have tossed the idea back and forth in my mind.And I really like the 300 WM so that will be my choice if I do it.But as for now I guess I will hunt with my 270 WSM Rem 700.

Acra glass is actually better.The other stuff will break done in 3 to 5 yrs.That is unless its painted over.You can call the guys at Devcon I believed a guy I know talked to a enginer about it.They said they could make it better but in the long run would end up selling less.

That Devcon fiberglass will degrade with time.I have a friend who makes knifes and uses it for the handles.I think he said he gets 2 or 3 yrs before it breaks down.He now uses that gel type sold at Brownells and dont have any problems.

I was thinking of putting a 20 moa rail with a 4x16 Vortex so I could do some long range shooting plus deer hunt with it.I been looking at a few long range coures here on the east coast.Mainly in Pa.

300 Win mag which is the better round? I hear wat the reps are saying but I want too hear from the guys who hunt with them and not sell them.
