Ramshot Grand, and did it replace Magnum?

Happiness is having two pounds of Reloader 26 and load development already made for it so I only load for what I need for hunting and saving the rest. That's good for at least 200 rounds for me.

Ramshot Grand, and did it replace Magnum?

I know some of the Accurate brand powder was made in Canada. The Accurate 4350 and Accurate 4064 had that on the label. But since Hodgdon acquired them too, that may have changed. With the wars going on,the plant that was producing it is probably producing powder for the militaries now.Probably same...

Ramshot Grand, and did it replace Magnum?

As most of us know,Hodgdon bought out Western Powder Company.Prior to this,TAC,Hunter and Magnum powders that I had were labled as Made in Belgium for Western Powder Company. The more recent powders I've bought have a different packaging label and doesn't have origin on the label.St Marks Powder...

Is your favorite rifle custom made or factory made ? I have a close tie

I have both factory and customs that shoot well. When it really comes down to a choice between the two sometimes,it's the stock that's on the rifle. The stock can sometimes make a difference in how well the gun shoots and how well the stock fits the shooter can also make a difference in how well...

    Norma MRP temp sensitive?

I'd like to know how many times Hodgdon performed that 0-125 degree test on their publication. How many times did they repeat it?How many different lots of powder where tested?Same seating depths on the bullets?Powder charges may have not been suitable for the cartridge and bullet.Just way too...

    Questions about Remington 700 BDLs

I used Tung Oil to refinish my stocks. It takes days to do it.I hung the stock by the sling stud. With Tung Oil on a piece of cheese cloth, just wipe the stock down and let it dry well between coats. The more coats you put on it the better. It's really very easy to do,just takes time. The Tung Oil...

    Borecope Techniques and Interpretation

I've had a Teslong flexible model for about three years now.Can you predict how well the barrel will shoot? Not really, but it lets you see things you could never see before.I did rebarrel one rifle that was a poor shooter after the Teslong showed me bad problems with an a used near mint...

    Bell & Carlson; state loyalty

I have several Bell and Carlsons. They are great stocks. But like others,I bed it.Even though they have aluminum bedding blocks, the rear of the recoil lug may not make solid contact. This can cause you some accuracy issues. This is not just a problem with this brand,I find it with other brands too.
