I think i might give the savage a try. Its just so cheap compared to the other options and it has real good accuracy potential. Plus its a factory rifle with easy to get parts and i can just go and get, no waiting forever for a custom build.

I was looking at the TAC338 action seems like a good action for the price around 1250. I figured barrel will probably be around 600 so im already at 1850. I do like the wbys but is it 1k$ better than the savage, the accumark is 2050 the cheapest i could find while the savage is 1100 standard...

What can a custom gun be built for nowdays. If it can be fully built for around 2500 then yea i see how its worth it but if its 3k + then it becomes harder to justify

Seems of all the factory rifles iv looked at the browning xbolt is the only one with a 1:8 twist barrel. Anybody have experience with the x bolt.
