ATF sure taking their good sweet time!

I don't care why, as long as it keeps going 🤣 They can have a black helicopter following me around 24/7 for all I care, they'll be as bored of my life as I am within a week.

While I agree with the above sentiment, this marks the first time in almost 40 years on this earth the .Gov has sped anything up.

Can't help but wonder if it's an alternative or nefarious reason when they have an unforced change of heart.
Exactly! Or maybe they need a lot more of those $200 tax stamps sold to get more money fast. Which is another nefarious reason.

Same here! I don't even drink, smoke, or chew. I even teach MATH, only way I could get more boring is if I taught Economics. Anyone? Anyone?
The ATF watching me….

So ....at 7 months 2 weeks I got a "disapproved email" This is my 3rd can on the same trust, 1st two cans were back during paper, paperwork. This is my first e-file. The email said "duplicate submission" I bought through a local FFL who is working to help me. We had a rough time submitting the app because the ATF system would crash every time we tried. It took a week of trying to get it it to go through.

I'm told its impossible to have a duplicate submission because the Serial# is unique and can only be used 1x so its not possible to have a duplicate submission. My local FFL has emailed the ATF for clarification, Its been another week and not response.

My brother and dad both got cans at the same time through the same guy and they got there approval last week.

Anyone ever deal with a problem similar to this?

I had my last one denied because the photo was "unacceptable". I was pizzed at Scheels for not catching it, but I guess I should have. I may try again. I wanted to use Scheels cuz I have so many reward dollars, but not sure I trust them anymore.

Around that time (7 months ago) I had a similar issue. My dealer was going through the same thing - repeated filing failures and took several days to get them to go through. When it finally submitted (we thought) somehow they charged payment but never accepted the form. I didn't get the email saying there was a submission, but from then on we were unable to try to submit the form anymore and it spit out some random error. The dealer had to call ATF and they did some background magic on refunding the stamp fee, then we re-submitted later. It was very annoying, but my dealer (Silencer Shop Elite level) was good about it and got it taken care of.

Sounds like you have the opposite issue. It took the form multiple times, or at least thinks it did. Sucks they didn't catch it sooner.

I am certain there is no one in any government position that would care at all about collecting an extra $200 tax stamp. If so, they wouldn't be TRILLIONS of dollars in the red.

Or perhaps that trillions of dollars in the red is BS ? Exactly when was the last audit ? Do you know anyone that would keep lending money to someone with a track record like our Govt ? If they said we are in the black I would guess it would be harder to keep raising taxes.

So if 1,000,000 suppressors get sold a year and they each require a $200 tax stamp that is $200,000,000 in tax stamps. Does that fund and stay at the ATF?
