Also need bbl length, twist, brand brass, velocity when you get it and any special notes:
Where you found pressure, best groups, please.
Thanks! I'll post your load when complete😄

@GLTaylor sorry in advance for the screenshot of my data. I know this doesn't make it easy to transfer to the spreadsheet.

7 PRC w/ 155 gr. HH, 24" bbl, 1:8 tw, Peterson brass… other pertinent info is in the screenshot, which contains data from 09-10 October 2023 while shooting into a dirt pile for the purpose of working up to find pressure signs and measure MV, so no groups to show.

On 25 Oct, I shot a 3-shot group at 100-yd while zeroing in, then gathered data from 200-700 yards. Same rifle specs as above. MV for 9 shots that I measured that day averaged 3130 fps. The 3-shot group was w/ 155 gr. HH, 70.0 gr. H1000, COAL: 3.300", and using a 0.282" expander mandrel instead of a 0.283" mandrel from the 09-10 Oct data set.

I'll work on tightening up my shot placement. I'm used to shooting 20+ lb rifles w/ smaller, non-magnum cartridges. This rifle is not too light at 9.75 lb but moves around more than I'm used to 🙃 … just need more reps behind the rifle. There're only 100 rounds down the pipe so far.

Decided to give some 124 HH a spin in a 6.5 Creed. Started at 37.5 of Varget, half grain above Steve's recommended starting point. I've got to finish, but some pretty decent groups for sure. I expected to need to crimp, but none of these were nor was pressure experienced in any of these.

Nice shooting. Overall, I've had better results by not crimping Hammer bullets, but my experience doesn't seem to be universal. My Hammer suggestion is to find your load with uncrimped cases and then test with a crimp to see if there is any improvement.

FWIW - I shot an average NC deer in the chest with a 124HH from my Creed. The shank exited near the hip.

Those are deadly in 6.5 creed, shot a deer last year at 200 yards, it went 15 yards and dropped .
