That is a question that is not easily answered. Stocks move up and down for many reasons. Why is Bitcoin so high? I have no idea other than supply and demand for something that really has no value other than what someone is willing to pay for it. Not much different than the .com bubble in the 90's. I would also think but I don't know for sure that Vista has alot of assets including real estate which in the current market is worth far more than two years ago.
Most companies work on a margin that is a percentage of cost. If a box of primers was $30 and they mark up 30% then they would sell them for $39. If their cost is now $100 they would sell them for $130. Yes they make $21 more a box but their expenses and overhead have also gone up over the same time period. Fuel, wages, insurance, etc.
I am sure there are people gouging out there somewhere but that does not mean every company is gouging. Bottom line is if it's worth it to you then buy it if it's not don't buy it. Throwing out accusations that you have no facts to back up is not going to change anything.
