VERY DANGEROUS TO STORE SMOKELESS POWDER IN NEARLY AIRTIGHT CONTAINER. BETTER TO STORE ON SHELF, OFF THE GROUND, COOL, DRY GOOD AIRFLOW. STILL FLAMMABLE, BUT NOT CONTAINED AND THUS EXPLOSIVE. imho

Did you miss the part that says I have a safe and will fill it with powder and ammo to sell. Where did he say this is how he stores powder and ammo?

I am building it myself. Hopefully all goes well. If anyone can believe lumber prices are worse then powder.
Tell me about it building a new one now. And the lumber pre lockdown to when they said it was ok to build went up 17k on my house. Not sure how I absorb that but to into it not to stop.
Not sure if that ****es me off more or all the stupids codes and tests that cost 6k for someone to tell me what I can and can't do with a house I built for myself on land I own.

Good luck to you!
A few tips - Having worked in the safe and security industry. I'll say a 3-4' lifter bar, some shims and 3/4" or 1" roller bar (which can be pipe) is all that is needed for moving a safe. Even the 8000# safes move on a flat surface with simple rollers.
My shop surface goes uphill and is basically as rough as gravel. Rollers didn't work for me so I had to use an engine crane to move mine. And after it was put in my shop I installed cabinets above it, so it would take a lot of effort to move it. Absolutely not impossible, but I've got a security system on my shop so by the time they could move it to break into it, the cops would be there.

I have the same safe.It was moved in with an electric dolly by one guy.I bet you could probably rent one somewhere.
