Winchester M70 short action in 6.5CM. Action was trued and a Lilja 1-8 twist barrel was installed by Shaen rifles in Bishop, Ca. Bedded in a McMillan hunters edge graphite stock and has a 3-9x33 compact long range duplex in Talley QR rings. Oberndorf style 1 pc bottom metal, NECG express rear and banded ramp front sight. Finish was done by Birdsong in Black-T. Shoots Hornady 129gr ammunition into less than 3/4" 5 shot groups at 100 yards, sighted in at 200 yards. Loves a handload of Varget and Speer 120gr fusion bullets at 2900fps. Weighs 7lbs-6oz complete.

Rifle was originally a Winchester classic CRF in 243. LOP is 13.5". Barrel length is 21"..

Shot this rifle today at 200 yards. 3 shots, cold bore, 129gr Hornady interlock factory ammo. 1.046" group... Rifle will get it done... Have another custom in the works and this one needs a new home.
