Quick question. Is the tracking on the vortex Diamondback tactical scopes good enough for a hunting rifle that's going to stay inside of 400-600yd ?
Can't seem to find anyone who's don't a tracking test on them. At least not the cheaper $300 one.
Thanks

I know the scope itself is good enough and they usually track well when sighting in.
Take it to the range and hang a long skinny target and see how it tracks for you

Well I don't have one yet hence the question :D my buddy wants to get in on the , extended range hunting deal but is on kinda budget and this seems like a good fit. Arkens are a bit big and SWFA arnt variable powder .

I would suggest looking at the ARKEN EPL scopes. These have Japanese glass and the turrets are great. I currently have two of the Arken SH4 Ten 2 scopes and am happy with them.
