searing off front swivel stud?

I keep searing off my front bipod swivel stud. 300Norma Magnum 230OTM@2935fps...
HS Precision Stock with a 9-13 Harris leg notch swivel:

does anybody have this issue? i need to get a hardened swivel stud or come up with another plan as in different set up?

what set up do you have to hold on a bipod on a heavy hitter?

Shawn Carlock @ Defensive Edge sells a part that will keep the stud from breaking. Also you can make a new stud out of a 5/16 or 3/8 shoulder bolt. I have several on .338 EDGE rifles that have been shot thousands of rounds without problems. Gary

You could mount a picatinny rail.

I broke 3 on 375 tejas before drilling out and installing a grade 8 3/8" bolt, no more problems.
