I'm looking to sell my Savage 24 22LR/410 that I've had for a long time to make some room in the safe. The date code on the receiver (13G) puts it at 1955. The Tenite forend is not original to the gun, it was missing the forend when I got it and that's what I was able to find on eBay at the time. I mainly bought it for the other metal parts and planned on getting a new wood forend at some point and refinishing it but never have.
The finish I think is in good shape for its age, but it's no museum piece. There's some surface rust in areas on the barrel but it's not deeply pitted or anything. Some permablue would clean it up nicely but I wanted to leave it original. The bores are in excellent condition with zero rust or pitting and the bores are regulated very well. I've tried to photograph everything as best as possible with my limited photography skills.
$600 $550 shipped gets it. Payment via Zelle or Venmo. No sales to PITA states like CA or anywhere that I have to do more than box it up and mail it to your FFL. Your FFL must accept from an individual.
