Had to change my plans this year. Was going to archery hunt my home area in Oregon but had a work accident happen can't pull my bow back. So plan to rifle hunt and my fall back unit in Idaho sold out. You guys have any suggestions

Utah isn't a bad deal. July 16th things start up.
Tags go on sale then? Didn't know they had otc.

Be glad you avoided Utah. Their OTC sale was a train wreck this year, and they sort-of-quietly raised the price of the non-res tag to boot. The regs say $393 but in March the legislature increased it to $593. Many non-resident hunters were surprised to see that increase after waiting hours online to purchase their tag.
Seems like every state did that this year.
