Not sure what type of spotter you are looking for. I have a Straight Pentax PF-80ED with a SMC Pentax 8-24mm Zoom (20-60 power). That is the good eye piece. At 1.25" wide internal eyepiece lens it does very well. Very popular with birders and popular with bench rest. It's heavy so not great for hunting although I used it for antelope hunting from the truck with great success, and any viewing from the road or camp. I have the original box for both eyepiece and body. Links below to products if interested. I took these pics of the moon last archery season with it during the eclipse, and this owl two archery seasons ago. The owl pic is crazy clear, but this is just a screenshot from my instagram.
