Magnum research barrel question

Has anyone ever swapped stocks on one of these? I'm wanting to go from the laminate stock to a hogue stock.

I assume you are talking about a carbon fiber magnum research barrel, .920" diameter. You will probably find that the hogue stock , even the one made for the larger diameter barrel will not free float the barrel and you may lose some accuracy. That said Magnum Search actually sells some of their factory guns with hogue stocks.

I got a Hogue stock for mine. Got a stock for a Remington senduro and had to dremmel it out to free float the barrel.

Yep, you will need to open up the barrel channel.
