My buddy want a whole rifle or piece one together. He's a LEFTY. Barrel throated for longer heavier bullets preferred. He's trying to build 7 pound max weight bare rifle.also the bottom metal needs to accommodate longer COAL

I have a light stock

If I recall correctly, my Remington 700 in 30 Nosler with a 28 oz (before bedding stock) and a 24" Bartlein # 3 barrel with 1.5" cylinder weighed just under 7.5 pounds. That might give you an idea of where your buddy can whittle away ounces to reach his target weight.
