No, check this out >>>https://www.ssusa.org/content/getting-started-in-f-class-competition/let me ask another way
Is a 260 ackley improve considered a magnum cartridge in f-class competition?
I used to shoot a 30-06 AI and a 30-284 in the .30 caliber class with 30 inch barrels getting close to 300 win mag velocities, Yet not being in the magnum class and shooting against .308 Winchesters, I had a nice advantage, That was my strategy, This was a long time ago. And no, Nothing you do to .260 Remington will make it a Magnum. The disgruntled shooter was put into the right class. The reason i ask is my club has three different classes
a Sub class
a 30 Cal.class
and a Magnum class
and the shooter wasn't happy that he was put in with the sub class shooters
Not Magnum class! Is a 260 ackley improve considered a magnum cartridge in f-class competition?
