How come my post is gone?

I posted about a week ago and also replied to an subject, but both are gone now?
Is it automatically removed because I been inactive too long or what?
Any ideas?

There was a crash of the site about a week ago and some posts were lost and not recovered.

As Rick said, we had a server crash and lost about ~16 hours of posts, roughly 1 week ago.
