[QUOTE="jgrand2622, post: 3065622, member: 129400"] So I just received a Fierce Carbon Rouge with a 20" barrel with a 1/8 twist. I broke in the barrel IAW with factory instructions using a box of Hornady 175GR eld-x and got sub-moa groupings the whole time. After the break in I switched to the 170 gr Terminal Ascents.... Holy **** ***. Not even sure how these things hit the paper at 100 yrds. The picture shows a 3 shot grouping and every bullet appears to have been unstable and entered sideways. My buddy also shot 10 rounds through his 7mm PRC browning x-bolt with a 24" barrel and a 1/8 twist and they made normal holes but held about a 5 inch group at 100yrds. Has anyone else had a similar experience or an idea of what is going on? Super ****ed cause I'm a believer in the bullets terminal performance and would really like to use it for hunting. I will also attach a pic of a group from the hornady exd-x's for reference of the rifles capability. Just to be extra clear on the first photo each one of the 3 holes is the hole from ONE bullet.
