51 degrees here at daylight today....stop and think about a couple things, one they are wearing the heaviest warmest fur they have all year, right now.....two, I have watched coyotes mouse on bare ground this time of year and in 30 minutes they may catch 8 to 10 mice........so they are too warm to run far, food is real easy to catch, no deep snow hindering their mousing....I had better interest in coyote vocalizations first and then soft squeaking..........doesn't matter to me if they come to call or sneak, just as long as I can find them and get to do some shooting. Of course Dave is a wealth of knowledge, he was part of the Lewis & Clark expedition.... 🤣;)👍...he has had lots of time to figure all this stuff out. Dave I take offense to your smartass comment as I have tried very hard my whole life to be one ..........at times..............:eek:
