Corn cob media life

So I just started tumbling with corn cob media and adding car wax. I've gotten really good results but I'm wondering how many hours can you run this stuff before it's time to trash it. I've been cleaning around 100-150 pieces of either 9mm or 38 special brass for around 3 hours per load. What kind of life are you guys getting?

I have thousands thru mine. My son has some Dillon product, works amazing, I add from time to time.

I run mine till it's dirty. I got a 50# bag from a farming buddy. Should last me a lifetime.

When my corncob media got dirty I switched to walnut shells. They are really cheap at the pet store. I buy the bag sold as lizard bedding. Works great

It really depends on how dirty the brass is that you are tumbling.
