If you don't handload 6.5 creedmoor ( god that hurts me to say that , I almost puked ) if your going to hand load and have the brass for 7 saum I'd go that route.

6.5CM for its variety of accurate and available factory loadings, mild recoil, and flat trajectory. Plus it will make half the people on this forum squirm which gives me a certain satisfaction.

I jumped in a Gardian PRS Match last fall and had a blast !
I'm typically a big caliber guy , 300 Rum , 338 Rum ,338 Edge but I pulled out a Ruger RPR 6.5 creedmore i picked up from a Buddys years back . Topped it with a Vortex Razor gen 1 5x20 x 50 .
Make sure your rifle is balanced and adjusted for you .

I got a little help from a buddy back in Montana on a load and Wow it was on !
I finnished 43 out of 88 entered and had alot of fun !
If I could of just calmed down and took my time I'm positive I would have shoot better !
6.5 Creedmore is definitely my choice for a first time entry level caliber. Honestly the 1054 yard target, max at out match was easy to hit for me , 4 out of 4 shots !
