Well i gave the 300wby all its chances , i bedded the action i tried 8 different projectiles and 4 different powders and it could not return better then an inch @ 100yds so its off to the nackers for the gun.
The action is getting blue printed the barrel replaced with a 28 inch 1:10 lilja .338 barrel an once the aussie dollar gos back up next week a small pain killer brake . Also fitting Us optics Picatiny 20 moa rail and bases.
Have it back for christmas ( thanks Santa ) will post photos when done.
