Nice shotgun!
I can tell by the rockwall and the leaf litter it looks like a typical WV, Western MD or PA forest I used to hunt in. Were those pheasants game reserve birds?

That is New England habitat…quite similar to WV. Few, if any "wild" pheasants in the NE…Ruffed grouse(my favorite) and woodcock fill that desire…

I didn't hunt birds back in WV, but I sure as heck was startled by flushing ruffies a lot!! Talk about a cardiac moment, lol.
