I have one of the Ruger African's in 9.3x62. Great rig. Recoil is surprisingly "soft".

The buyer might want to look at a 9.3x64 Brenneke. Using RL15 and a 250gr Accubond you can get to 2800fps. That would be an elk buster for sure.
