I did not see this information on here, but if you are thinking about shooting the H-13 3.5" 2.25 7's, there is a bad lot of shells you need to watch out for. If you have never looked at the lot numbers, it is under the cover flap of the box.
The lot numbers are 6 digits long. Any lot number that starts with 3003_ _ is good.
Any lot number that starts with 3004_ _ is questionable. The company (Environ-Metal) changed the wad and that reduced pattern density. Some are saying other components were changed as well.
The problem was supposedly corrected in lot # 3005_ _, but I have not been able to verify that.
I had a box of lot # 300488 and it cost me about 5 yards off my maximum range. There has been quite a bit of chatter about it on the internet.
