good choice on the cartridge! I have a custom Mauser 9.3x64 Brenneke coming this Summer for my Fall hunt.

I'll agree, looks like a Whitworth Mark X. Ala commercial large ring Mauser.

EGW makes a one piece base for it.
I teamed mine up with EGW's Keystone line of rings.
