With a 260 gr.bullett at what distance is a 375 hh able to bring down an animal,400'500 ,600 or more in yards.it has a great bc. And I have read that it is the best all round caliber from deer to large game,I am buying a tc pro hunter in 375 hh,and need to know the long ranger killing zone for this.thx

It's going to depend on the velocity you get and the elevation your hunting at but if your using a accubond then about 600yds is where you hit 1800fps (the lowest Nosler recommends for reliable expansion). I've killed elk over 600yds with my .375-.358STA using 250gr Sierra's but I get 3080fps out of them. I'd imagine you'll get between 2700 and 2800fps with 260's.

Thank you,yes I am using the accubonds,so 600 is kinda the limits,if I were to reload is it possible to stretch it past 600 yards

That is with reloads. I've seen data as high as 2850fps but it will depend on what your barrel will handle and shoot well.

If you shoot the 300gr Cutting Edge bullets (.750 BC) and can get 2600fps out of them then that will stretch the 1800fps to around 800yds. They are over 2.00/bullet though.

I have ordered a Thompson center pro hunter encore in 375,it has a 28 inch barrel,I don't no how it will hold up to reloads
