300 wsm hammers

Getting ready to build a new 300 wsm. Wanting to run hammers somewhere around 165gr. I don't need to above as I have a 300 win running 180 gr and a rum running 215gr. Both shoot lights out just wanting something a little lighter. I'm not opposed to running lighter than 165. Ideally be in a 20-22" barrel. Carbon with Wood stock. I don't see any need for a long action…I don't think at that barrel length. Input appreciated. Also any hot leads on a good place to find fancy unfinished stocks would be appreciated.

Mostly whitetail, bears maybe elk. I really like the origin. Good price point and I like my other orgin

26 3B Bartlein, but if I did it again it would be 24. Why? Because it might balance better with my 13 in LOP.

166HH is great! Currently my load. Testing 154HHT is looking pretty good as well. Both are great. Oh yeah, 137HH is also laser.

I run a SA, but has Wyatt extended bottom with center feed. I think the XM action would be the cats meow.
