what cartridge for grizzly in 300 prc was told 200 nosler acubond, or 180 ttsx barnes? Any Recommendations

Both will kill Grizz. Pick the one that shoots best.

I've been using 199 hammer hunters. Rifle is 19 for 19 on animals so far.

The Barnes are phenominal bullets
I 2nd Axl's sentiments, whatever shoots the best. The heavier the bullet the better, don't sleep on 212 ELD-X or 215 Berger. Also, make that 1st shot count….your chasing one of the toughest, meanest, apex predators to walk the land! Good Luck

For a cartridge like the 300 prc where you can seat long, heavy bullets long you may be better suited with a Barnes LRX (190,200, & 208 grain) vs the 180 TTSX.

What obiwankannoli said. I'd go with the heavier, 200 or 208 LRX. The 212's are too long for mag feed. Then there's the Hammer line of bullets. They are easier to find than Barnes.

I would suggest you are running a twist rate of at least 1:9 for the 208. 1:10 should be good to go on the 190's.

ok thanks everbody my guide just recommended the 180 ttsx i know hes been doing it for a while, but just wanted to double check
Your guide recommended the 180 ttsx? Ask him what caliber of side arm to carry? If he says anything smaller than 357 Mag/10mm/44mag/etc, find a new guide ASAP!

That'll probably work, but I'd go with the 200 or 208LRX
Barnes 190 LRX is a much better bullet than the 180 ttsx
