Looking for loads and velocity with N570 and RL26 in a 300 PRC with 225's and 215's, or similar weights.
I'll be using a 27" 9 twist 5R barrel.
Any data on other powders would be awesome too
Thanks

I should have mine next week.

26" bartlein 9 twist.

I have ladder tests loaded up with rl26 and h1000 using 225 eldm, 212 eldx and 215 hybrid.

I'll post results on a new thread.

Right on man,
please alert me when you post your findings

I have a 30/375 ruger. I kept the same body length as the 375 and just necked down to 308 to make the neck longer. So its very similar to the prc. My load is 80.5gr on N570 with the 225s loaded to 3.69" oal. Its at 2952fps average of 12 shots.

Edit to add: this is out of a 25" barrel

Thank you sir that's very helpful!
Do you by chance have an idea what the case capacity is for your 30-375?
I measured my 300 prc virgin brass and am getting 95.5 grains h20

I havent ever measured it. Heres the print from manson though the freebore is longer than what the print shows and its a 340 neck not 343. Loaded rounds are 336

Its probably not a whole lot. I didnt blow it out at all, didnt see a point to do it.

Im sure you could end up pretty close to what im loading as well. I built one for my dad as well and he is using up his 8lb jug of retumbo. Its a stout load but i havent run it over the magneto yet.

When i do ill message you the load for that one. It wont be for 2 or 3 weeks though.

Looking at the print, it wont hold more than the 300 PRC. Its a little less than my old 30/375 S. I. Good looking case though! It should perform VERY similar to the 300 PRC
