I would like to receive from any LRH members some data for reloading the following ammo:
Rifle- Win Model 70 pre 64 .300 H&H cal
Bullets- 230 gr Burger VLP
Powder- you name it with data to back it up with
Brass- New Norma cases
Primers- name it ( use CCI 250 large mag)
I'm looking for a 2500 to 2550 fps with a half inch moa by using the above components and rifle

Thanks to all you LRH members who respond and good hunting/shooting to all!

The Berger manual lists loads for the .300 H&H. I'd use the 7828SSC, starting load is 61 grains, top load is 64.2 grains. Velocity given is 2546fps-2678fps. A couple of loads came in slightly faster (34fps), but I've used the 7828SSC.

The Pre-64's have been good to me, I'd like to hear how it works out.

remember that the case capacity of the 300h@h is almost exactly the same as the 300wsm.... wonder where you can get loading data for new powders and bullets??? :D:D:D Just be sure to start the full 10% down and work up as the throating will likely be different....
