It's been a few years since I posted anything here, but I thought maybe I would share some loads for the 28 nosler and 195 BEH bullet seeing as how there is very little data on the web about it. This combo has been around a little while, yet it's hard to find anything on just the standard throat and twist this cartridge comes in.
So, here are the specs:
27" Proof Research barrel, 1-8" twist
Standard throat designed for 175 grain LRAB to fit in Nosler box magazine
Nosler 28 Nosler brass match prepped and turned to .015".
Bullets seated to base to ogive length of 2.908" on Stoney Point tool (which is giving me about .003" jam)
Oehler 35 chrono on 4' bar, 10' from muzzle
