$100K 1/2 MOA rifle?

Like when 3 shots can be covered by a dime or 5 shots covered by a nickel, confident with setup. That rifle's ready to go huntN, Elk or Deer and dollar wise, shooting many more loads, not really necessary. Unless a coyote is seen trotting along a soybean field, load research is close enough.

My 300nmi can go print a sub 1/2" 5 shot group on the mountain at 1K, then go shoot a .6" 3 shot group at 100yds. I'm all about the kill zone accuracy these days, I used to chase paper. I'll save that for the heavy guns with light calibers 🤣 hoping my 7 saum fits this $100k competition though.

100 yard groups all look the same. The shots don't even begin to spread out to where you can see one shot from another till you get to 200 yards.
Here's a 200 yard group that can be covered by a dime. Sauer 100.

I can't do it all the time but my lil stock Remington 223 with garbage stock shoots tights does my 257 wby vanguard. I spend fair amount of time with guys that are WR shooters in bench,so seen a lot of impressive groups. There 300 fire form would blow most people away. This a group with my 7-2 oz 338 NM @ 400.

That's some shootin' there with a cartridge that can take on all comers. Is that 7 lbs 2 ounces with a scope? That's really light for a banger like that.

Three shots groups are pretty easy to land in tight groups here and there. Shot tons on .2-.3 3 shot groups. I don't even look at them as meaningful anymore honestly. Same load can open right up with a few more shots or a few more groups. Don't get me wrong, I love when they stack like that and it's obviously a sign of a potentially very promising load, but I don't put any weight behind it at all. Better do it a lot more times or with more shots to be worth much to me anyways.

Does anyone have a HUNTING rifle that they'd honestly bet $100K that they can lay down, on demand, and shoot a sub 1/2 MOA, 5 shot group with? I was thinking about it, and I really don't think I do. Even with a couple nice rifles that have produced much smaller than 1/2 MOA groups on occasion... I wouldn't bet $100k on the next 5 shotter being under .5".... I'd like a rifle like that at some point though haha.

Let's say:
-12lbs Max weight
-Minimum cartridge of 6.5 PRC
-Think 600 yard+ elk capable rifle.

If you do, I'd love to see it and get the details on the build, load, and some groups that the rifle/rifles puts down!
I have a rifle I'm pretty confident I could lay down and hammer out a sub 1/2 MOA group with but alas, it doesn't meet your criteria for a hunting rifle, even though I do hunt with it. As confident as I am, I still wouldn't bet $100k on it. $100, sure, but not $100k.

Said rifle is my .22GT.

That friend of mine that's a bench shooter has shot is 6mm creed into 2-3 inch 3 shot at 1000 yard. Bare gun is under 5# and 21'' barrel. Another one of Alex W.

I wouldn't take the bet although I do have rifles that put out impressive groups a lot but it just isn't an everytime thing.

I always love those people that get so into it that when they have a piece of brass that throws a shot, they will chunk that piece of brass in the garbage. Lol…I'd have no brass.

I have a factory barreled 1966 win model 70 300 win mag that'll shoot 0.25" groups (3 shots)...never shot 5 shot groups as the thin barrel contour would probably get so hot it'd say "f u". It's finicky too, after I deep clean it she takes 15 shots to foul it in...it'll shoot groups like this for about 15 shots...then groups start opening back up and it's time to clean it
