Well guys thanks for responding. I picked up my rifle today and no problems. it was a mossberg MVP bolt action, 5.56 nato. I have a excellent clean record and shouldn't have any problems but i get delayed everytime. Makes me wonder whats going on in places i can't see?

When buying a bolt action rifle from local sporting goods? i have to wait every time. Basically i have to wait a week and some don't. Not sure why this happens. my record is clean and wondering is something else is going on other than just slow background check? thanks.

hollow derby car and making weight, gonna have to work on that. need to dig up my other derby car for the store. it was a mechanical broadhead and functioned. the kids really like that one. they wouldn't let me have razor sharp blades, no fun. glad you liked!

Friend Kris just shot a antelope at 92 yrds, bowhunter montana. he is also one of the best archery shots i have ever met also. he shoots competitive all over and his indoors scores are usually perfect and high x counts.

Elk hunting is close. drew special draw tag in wyoming and will begin on sept. 1st. bowhunting will begin. My Dad didn't draw so he's camp cook this year. Get to introduce my cousin to the bighornes mtns of wyoming. He's never been to the mtns before so will be a special trip for him. wonder how...

haven't shot the vendetta. Pse freak is a nice bow. I shoot bowtech but friend shoot the freak and really like this bow. Very fast and longer axle to axle. i like the longer bows compared to shorter bows. We have chrono'd this bow and stable. Not sure what you like for bows and application but...

Just found out going elk hunting. Drew my elk tag special draw type 9. very happy to be hunting the bighornes with a great tag! Gonna leave the rifle at home. Stay sharp on the archery skills.:D

New tactical bag arrived from midway, 56"works perfect. now have a place to store my bore cleaning rod also. this is a nice bag and very pleased. think i spent around $97.00 with shipping to my house. bought the brown bag and looks good. lots of storage if necessary, no complaints. will check...
