Kiwikid I thought I would have had a way to go as well but 46 grains led to a hard bolt lift. I checked the Nosler book and they said 46 grains for a 140. This leaves me to believe the Barnes bullets must have a little more resistance when going down the barrel.

It is 45 grains of RL22. I know it is 1 grain over max but those loads were for model 96 Mausers.

I think if it says Lieca on it you can not go wrong. I do not have one of the 2700's but have used an old 800 and have a friend with a 1600b. Both of these units do everything they claim to unlike other companies range finders that fall a little short. You will not go wrong if you get one.
